Two blog posts in one night because I don't have to go to work till late tomorrow (lucky me). After my trip to Disneyworld, I met up with my mother in Atlanta so we could spend the week with our cousins.

We did so many fun things while we were there… we went antiquing, on a hayride, shopping at IKEA (per our usual), went wine tasting, more shopping, went to a German festival, and trick-or-treating.  We always cram a lot into our visits when we are there and they have so many things to do that we don't have available where I live.  I look forward to spending Halloween with them again next year hopefully.  After we left Atlanta we made a quick pit stop in Senoia, Georgia to check out where they filmed the Walking Dead.  They had so many cute (but overpriced) shops there.  It was definitely one of those quirky towns you would want to stay the night in so you could spend the day exploring. Maybe another time…

the dreams that you wish will come true...

Boy have we been busy. So busy that I haven’t had a chance to come and update this space until now. Sorry about that. The holiday season is more jam-packed then usual this year. This is the first weekend I've had off since before our vacation to Disneyworld at the end of October.

We flew into Orlando and headed straight from our resort to Animal Kingdom (where we did everything believe it or not). We really had a lovely time there, the best time I've had at that park. I probably enjoyed it because the weather was so nice... so I would recommend going towards the end of October since it wasn't that crowded either. After we did all the attractions at Animal Kingdom and got something to eat we shot over to Epcot for about an hour to squeeze in the Spaceship Earth ride.

The next day we spent the day at Hollywood Studios where we rode tons of rides and ate lots of delicious food (in all actuality, everything we ate during the entire trip was phenomenal). We had reservations at the Sci-Fi Restaurant and it was such a fun experience watching the old movies. We left there to stop at Downtown Disney and pick up some last minute Halloween costumes for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party at Magic Kingdom that night. Let me just say that everyone (and I mean everyone) had such clever, detailed costumes that night.

We spent our last day at Magic Kingdom and let's just say this day was the best day of the trip because… Andrew proposed and I said YES!!! I'm going to be marrying my best friend and it's a pretty great feeling. I'm very lucky to have such a great guy in my life and I can't wait for us to spend the rest of our lives together. So I hope you enjoy a few photos from our trip and the video blog that captured his proposal.

Until next time….

conventional.

Hey friends!  I apologize it's been so long since I've posted anything.  There has been so much going on that I am devoting today to catching everyone up (for those out of the loop) on what's been going on in my life.

First, let's start with the Walker Stalker Convention in Atlanta that I went to with my good friends.  It was awesome and definitely better organized than other conventions I've been to in the past.  We saw a lot of our favorite characters and met some "interesting" people in the numerous lines. Although I was unable to get a picture with Andrew Lincoln, since it sold out so quickly, I was excited nonetheless to see him in person and listen to him and Norman Reedus at the Bromance Panel.  I like being able to go to these things with my friends, nerd out, and have them completely get it.  You know?

 Andrew Lincoln (aka Rick)!!
 loved her costume!

Sophia grew up to be taller then me.  Such a lovely girl.

this picture cracks me up, but I absolutely love it!!
that's us… somewhere in the middle… at the Boyce Avenue concert.
oh, Ian… such a sweetheart.

Hopefully, I'll be able to attend more of these in the future but until then… I hope you enjoyed the photos of my fun time.

October.

Hashtag the best month ever!!  There is so much going on this month I need to remember to savor all the moments that are coming since they will surely speed by.  I'm going to Walker Stalker Con (in Atlanta) for the first time with some girlfriends and crossing my fingers I don't spend too much money.  I get like a kid in a candy store with all the neat memorablia.  Then four days later my vacation officially starts… me and the boyfriend are going to Disneyworld for a few days.  It's our first big trip together by ourselves and though we wish it could be longer, we're both really excited about the getaway.  After our Disney trip I'm going to Atlanta again to spend a week with my cousins.  I got to visit with them some in July when they came down for a few days, but I always love going to visit during fall since there's tons of fun festivities going on right before Halloween.

countdown to Disney.

Also, let's take this time to celebrate Gilmore Girls on Netflix.  I know how I'm spending any free time I have this month.

Until next time...

baby fever.

Hello friends!  It appears baby fever is spreading… I currently have 4 friends who are pregnant and I couldn't be happier for them.  Me and my mom attended my good friend Andrea's baby shower this past weekend and it was so lovely.  She's having a baby girl (Lucy) and had such a cute theme for the shower: Ready to Pop.  It was wonderful to see a lot of my girlfriends and catch up since we don't get to do it as often the older we get.  Life has been kind of a whirlwind lately and hopefully slowing down a bit at work now that fall is just around the corner.  I'm still in school and my Business Communications class was more work than I was expecting but I just have to push through I guess. I'm going to try to do another post tomorrow night about upcoming events for October so look forward to that.  I'm working overnights right now so I'm trying to be positive that I have some free time in between calls to finally catch up on my blog.  Until next time…

 these cakes pops were delicious.

Can't wait to finally meet you Lucy.
